Scientific awards
and medals of a name of academicians N.S. Zefirov, G.A. Tolstikov, and Yu.S. Ovodov,
with their approval, were established in 2011 by the Public organization
“Tatarstan National Chemical Society of the name of D.I. Mendeleev” and the
Butlerov Scientific Foundation (BSF). In 2011, the DSF was at the stage of its
formation, and worked on Provision of the Ltd “Innovative Publishing House
“Butlerov Heritage”. August 5, 2013 the BSF was officially registered as a
legal entity in the organizational-legal form of Fund and this Scientific
awards gained official status in the Provision of Scientific awards and medals
of BSF.
Research award was
established to encourage researchers in the field of chemical, biochemical and
physical sciences and assigned to the winners for significant scientific
achievements, which are presented and described in the articles of the journal
“Butlerov Communications”.
Scientific award of a name of academician N.S. Zefirov awarded to the nominees
for achievement in the field of theoretical chemistry and organic synthesis.
Scientific award of a name of academician G.A. Tolstikov awarded to the
nominees for achievement in the field of low-molecular bioregulators, medicinal
chemistry and biochemical synthesis, as well as in related areas of knowledge.
Scientific award of a name of academician Yu.S. Ovodov awarded to the nominees
for achievement in the field of chemistry, biochemistry and immunochemistry of
carbohydrates, as well as in related areas of knowledge.
The decision on awarding scientific awards researchers finally adopted by the
Board of the BSF.
